रोसेम एक स्वदेशी बाँसुरी है, जिसे उम से बनाया जाता है, जो त्रिपुरा की उन्नीस प्रमुख जनजातियों में से एक, डार्लोंग जनजाति द्वारा उपयोग किया जाने वाला एक पारंपरिक पानी का घड़ा होता है। विभिन्न गाँवों में रहने वाले समुदाय के सदस्य, अंतर-ग्राम सांस्कृतिक प्रतियोगिताओं का आयोजन करते हैं, जिसमें रोसेम संगीत के साथ संगत के लिए उपयोग किया जाता है। ऐसा माना जाता है कि रोसेम का उपयोग पहली बार झूम महोत्सव, एक कृषि-आधारित उत्सव में किया गया था, जहाँ राजा भी अपने लोगों के साथ आनंद में सम्मिलित होते हैं। इन दिनों, रोसेम डार्लोंग के कई नृत्यों जैसे बाँस नृत्य, पक्षी नृत्य, इत्यादि, में एक महत्वपूर्ण संगत है। रोसेम डार्लोंग संगीत की विभिन्न लय जैसे डार-टेंग, डार-रेसबुआंड, आदि के साथ संगत दे सकता है।"
त्रिपुरी उअख्रप राज्य का एक प्राचीन पारंपरिक वाद्य यंत्र है। उअख्रप दो संगीत आधारिक संरचनाओं - तार और चर्म झिल्ली - का एक संयोजन है। यंत्र का अर्ध-गोलाकार आधार गामई, कोरोई या गर्जम के पेड़ों की लकड़ी से बनाया जाता है। चार या पाँच खोखले बाँस के टुकड़े, चार से पाँच सेंटीमीटर लंबे, अर्ध-गोलाकार लकड़ी के आधार के बाहरी गोलार्ध पर लगे होते हैं। बाँस के टुकड़े, प्रत्येक नौ छिद्रों के साथ, एक दूसरे से जुड़े होते हैं और धातु के तारों द्वारा धातु की चकती से जुड़े होते हैं। भीतरी गोलार्ध में एक चमड़े का आवरण होता है। जब बाँस की छड़ियों से फैले हुए चर्म आवरण को पीटा जाता है तब लयबद्ध ध्वनि उत्पन्न होती है।
