Description: This book is a compilation of the issue of the magazine published within the year 1906, and on the first page of the first issue is an article that talks about the historical culture of the people in relation to the nature of Chieftainship. We also find articles that discuss about the negative effects of alcohol with regards to health as well as its negative effects on the society. Here, we can observe the influence of Christianity and its moral principles upon the people and their lifestyle and opinion. There are articles that also tell information about the encounters of the hill people with the British during 1777, 1847 and 1854, discussing how the British first attempted to take their land and how they fought back. There are a number of articles throughout the monthly issue, all written by different writers.
