General Description
This cave was part of the Cave 26 complex. It was intended to be a two storey structure, but the upper storey remains incomplete. The cave has a hall, antechamber, shrine and cells. The pillars in the antechamber are adorned with sculpted Dryads, Yakṣas and Nāgas. Sculpted female figure with a parrot - is part of the iconography of Later caves.
Recognizing the ongoing need to position itself for the digital future, Indian Culture is an initiative by the Ministry of Culture. A platform that hosts data of cultural relevance from various repositories and institutions all over India.
