Born in Howrah, Natyacharya Sisir Kumar Bhaduri was a pioneer of theatre, stage actor and director in the 20th century. This sleeveless, long coat belonged to the famous artist. He was awarded the Padma Bhushan, India’s third-highest civilian honour in 1959 by the Government of India.
