King Edward VII, eldest son of Queen Victoria, was the Emperor of India in the first decade of the 1900s. To mark his accession to the throne, a massive Coronation Durbar was organized in Delhi in 1903. This is the uniform worn by him in the capacity of the Colonel-in-chief of the Guards.
