Mashak is a wind instrument made of goatskin and wax. This folk instrument is found in Rajasthan. Mostly used as an accompaniment in folk music and dance.

Material: Goatskin, wax

A bagpipe, made out of full size goat skin. A decorative blowing pipe, made of bamboo and having five finger holes, inserted and fixed in the bag with the help of wax. Blown through the mouth. The inflated bag serves as the air chamber, and is operated by the pressure of arms. Used in folk music and dance.
