Sagna is a percussion instrument made of lacquer. This traditional instrument is found in Himachal Pradesh. Majorly used by ‘Lamas’ in ritualistic and monastic dances.

A hollow barrel shaped frame having large and wide drum heads. Painted skin pasted at the rim on both faces. Body coloured with bright lacquer. Beaten with a curved stick. Used by ‘Lamas’ in ritualistic and monastic dances.
