Pumba is a percussion instrument made of brass, cotton, and iron. This folk instrument is found in Kerala. Majorly used for rhythmic accompaniment in folk concerts and religious processions.

A bifacial brass cylindrical body. Both faces covered with skin which is stitched on iron hoops, kept tight with the help of cotton cords. Played with two curved sticks. Used for rhythmic accompaniment in folk concerts and religious processions.
