Nishan is a percussion instrument made of iron and leather. This tribal instrument is found in Orissa. Majorly used by tribals of Orissa and Bastar area of Madhya Pradesh.

Material: Iron, leather

Vessel shaped body made of riveted iron sheet. Open face covered with a thick hide, stretched and tightened by a leather strap. Two antelope horns are tied on either side. Beaten with two thick leather straps. Used by tribals of Orissa and Bastar area of Madhya Pradesh.
