Karadi Vadya is a percussion instrument, made of wood, iron, cotton, and parchment. This folk instrument is found in Karnataka. Majorly used in folk and traditional music and dance.

A barrel shaped bifacial wooden drum. Faces are covered with skin and tied with the help of iron rings and cotton cord. Decorated cloth is covered over the instrument. Played by either hands or sticks. Used in folk and traditional music and dance.
