The video is a Hindustani classical vocal performance by the legendary master Pandit Bhimsen Joshi. Bhimsen Joshi (1922-2011) is renowned for khayal form of singing along with devotional singing of bhajans and abhangs. He was born in Dharwad district of Karnataka. He received his training in singing and harmonium from Shamacharya Joshi. His great Guru was Sawai Gandharva under whom he trained to become one of the most widely recognized Hindustani classical music exponents in India and the world.
