Kelyacho Halwo
Kelyacho Halwo (or Kele ka Halwa) is a sweet delicacy from the state of Goa. It is served as a part of the main course and can also be eaten as a dessert.

Ingredients
4-5: | Ripe bananas (Nendran variety) |
2-3 tablespoons: | Ghee |
1 cup: | Sugar |
1 teaspoon: | Cardamom powder |
2 tablespoons: | Water |

Directions
- Peel and cut the ripe bananas into thin slices.
- In a pan, mix together the sliced bananas, sugar, and ghee.
- Add water to the mixture and cook uncovered. Stir fry lightly till the banana slices become soft and translucent and the attains a thick consistency.
- Add cardamom powder.
- Turn of the heat and allow the halwa to cool.
Kelyacho Halwo is best enjoyed with roti and puris.
