Description: This Bengali delicacy is made from yellow pumpkin, potato and black chickpeas, cooked in mustard oil. Ingredients used in tempering are the "panch phoran" or the five spice mixture consisting of fennel seeds, black mustard, nigella seeds, fenugreek and cumin seeds. It is served along with hot steamed rice topped with ghee.
