Gujiya

Description: "Gujiya" is a well known North Indian sweet. However, the Bengali "gujiya" is unique and stands on its own. The first step in the preparation of this sweet is to boil milk till it thickens and forms "mawa". The next step is to add sugar and ghee and keep boiling it till it thickens and can be made into a dough. The dough is made into several ring-like tear drop shapes and allowed to cool.
