Dhokar Dalna

Description: This is a traditional Bengali dish prepared as a part of "niramish" or a strictly vegetarian repertoire. "Dhoka" are cakes prepared out of "chana dal" ground with spices. These are then added to a "dalna" or a spicy and thick gravy of ginger, cumin seeds and red chillies.
