Zoram Thlirna

Description: Zoram Thlirna is a historical book that focuses on the political development of the people of Lushai Hills. The first chapter of the book focus on the early encounters of the hill people, while they were still called head-hunters, and their encounters with the British in the tea plantation in the Cachar district of Assam. It then gradually shift to the hill people under the British administration, wherein we find information that 2100 Mizo lad also participated in the first World War joining the 27th India Labour Corps in France. Through this book, we can learn about the political and socio-economic development of the Lushai Hills under the British administration.
