Description: This is a headband made of cane fibres and rattan plant. The frontal design is of light vermilion red with cross bands running through the middle horizontal pathway between the vermilion bands. These are light weight head decorations generally used for requirement of vibrant outlook such as during festivals and some ceremonial activities. The hair band has rough textured lateral edges and fibres and loosely binds at the edges. The two ends strung tightly with a metal string and this kind of binding is also observed on the whole piece but at particular distances. There is an absence of usage of natural colours.
