Publisher: National Museum, New Delhi
Description: A double sided comb with thin double side pointed sticks. These sticks are tightly banded together joining the lateral side and two solid dense cylindrical wooden pieces being strung with the comb having the possible purpose of giving skeletal strength to the whole structure. The thin strands of cane used for binding the two wooden solid cylindrical blocks are densely packed and follow a uniform herringbone pattern, adding a unique look to it. Again, a thread is attached which symbolize the concept of either hanging or the tying as a hair plug.
