Description: This cotton bag of the Mishmi people of Arunachal Pradesh is designed with the multicolored borders and bands with motifs. Basic yet definite size and the harlequin motifs are patterned into respective horizontal rows on the whole surface of one side and other side forming diamond patterns vertically as well as horizontally having very bright hues. Borders with same texture are running on both sides. The frontal side observes bright brunt hued texture, whereas the back follows tri-colour, i.e. crimson, white, with matt black background. The thick rope handle strap follows the multi-hued continuous twisted cloth design. This bag can be used during agricultural purposes, domestic use and tribal handicraft export.
