- Haṃsa

Description :

This painting is located in almost identical places at the beginning of the left aisle in two caves. Both the panels appear more or less as vertical narratives.


Story:

A trap for a flock of geese is laid by a king. Though only the leader of the geese is captured, his deputy stays behind to protect his master. This miracle moves the king who asks the leader of the flock to preach about the virtues of a good leader.
