This painting is found in three caves. The story serves as a beautiful allegory and is depicted in four to five scenes.
Story:
During the rutting season, the royal elephant abandons the king during a hunt in the forest. The elephant eventually proves his obedience to the king. The story is a reflection of the powerful nature of latent passions and the need to overcome them by adopting the Buddhist path.
